10.26.09 -
Yesterday's Pace Race in Kirkland was a happy success. Having
been hired to update their event logo and additionally create
all of their print marketing pieces including their event
brochure, poster, magazine ads and participant shirts, we are
proud to see that their event grew by more than 60%. Having
taken photos at the race this year, we now too have a photo
stock for next year's materials that should help them even more.
It's a great event and we're happy to have them as a client.

7.4.09 - It was
another banner year for the Firecracker 5000. Advancing the
strategy we implemented prior that included using images of the
Space Needle and the other Seattle Center area landmarks that
the race route passes, this year we leveraged the stockpile of
photos that we took at the event last year. We took photos at
the race again this year so all is looking good in prep for
2010. What we designed: the event poster, brochure, magazine
ads, banner ads and the participant shirt (with ink that glows
in the dark). |
|
| |
 |
6.13.09 - With a
focus on better aligning the communication materials for the
Road Runner Sports Fremont 5K & Briefcase Relay to the green
focused initiatives the event has, we redesigned the brand mark
for this event. Keeping the whimsical font from the years past,
we added a five arrowed briefcase that represents both the five
members of a briefcase relay team as well as the recycling/green
aspect of the event. What we designed: the event poster,
brochure, magazine ads, banner ads and participant shirts. This
year's race took place on Friday, June 12th. |

5.31.09 - Today's
Great Kilted Run brought hope to the re-launch of this event that
last took place in 2004. What we designed, the event posters,
all the magazine ads, the event brochure and the kicking black
participant shirts. |

5.11.09 - Results for the Kirkland Half
Marathon & 5K presented by Everyday Athlete was good. Although
at this time we don't know how many more registrants our client
had at this event, we do know that it was their largest Kirkland
Half Marathon & 5K event. What we designed, the three event
posters, all the magazine ads, the event brochure and the
participant shirts. We also took plenty of photos on race day in
prep for next year's event. |

2.09.09 - The Road Runner Sports Love 'em
or Leave 'em Valentine's Day Dash results were superb.
Continuing our branding efforts for this event that we have done
since the event's start four years ago, we have helped make this
5K one of the largest winter held runs in Washington as well as
the largest held at Green Lake Park. What we designed: the event
poster, brochure, magazine ads and participant shirts. |

12.15.09 - With snow and ice abound,
Mother Nature won yesterday's 12K's of Christmas Holiday Run,
giving the City of Kirkland and our client no option but to
cancel the event. Had the event happened and had the normal
registration patterns held during the last few days leading up
to the event, this 12K's of Christmas would have likely
surpassed last year's race by 500 people. What we designed: the
event poster, brochure, magazine ads and the much loved
participant shirts. |

01.02.09 - Yesterday's Resolution Run 5K &
Briefcase Relay was a huge success. Focusing again on the polar
bear dive portion of the event as well as the new course route
and venue, the marketing materials we created helped this year's
event become the largest Resolution Run 5K event in the 25+ year
history of the race. With the photos that we took at the event,
we're already scheming how great next year's materials will
look. What we designed: the event poster, brochure, magazine ads
and participant shirts. |

07.05.08 - Thursday's July 3rd Firecracker
5000 was the second largest Firecracker ever only behind the
attendance record set way back in 1984. Having tweaked this
year's marketing materials to focus more on the Space Needle and
the other numerous landmarks that the event route passes, we're
psyched to see it succeed. With the stockpile of photos we took
at this year's race we're even more excited for what next year
will bring. What we designed: the event poster, brochure,
magazine ads and participant shirts. |

06.06.08 - Even with the horrible weather
that occurred during the weeks leading up to the event, this Friday's Fremont 5K & Briefcase
Relay was the largest it has been for more than 10 years. With
the knowledge that the participant attendance at the event had
been decreasing in the recent years, the results of our rebranding of the
event to better promote the Briefcase Relay portion of the race
can be seen in the events continual year over year increase in
race participants. From 2005 to 2008 the number of race participants
has increased by 60%. What we designed:
the event poster, brochure, magazine ads and participant
shirts. |
|
| |
 |
05.11.08 - This weekend's
Kirkland Half Marathon & 5K saw a record number of race
participants, growing by 70% over that of last year. Merging
together the branding of the event's charity benefactor, the
emotions gained while participating in a longer distance
endurance event and the artistic feel of the City of Kirkland,
we have created a sustained branding campaign for the Kirkland
Half Marathon & 5K that has helped the event grow 280% over the
four years of its
existence. What we designed: the event poster, brochure,
magazine ads, participant shirts and past finishers medals. |
|
| |
 |
04.13.08 - Having
developed the current brand mark as well as the recent regional
marketing collateral for the Nature's Path Whidbey Island
Marathon & Half Marathon, we built off of our past marketing
efforts for this event to help our client achieve a 20%
participant growth rate this year. What we designed: the event
poster, brochure, regional magazine ads and email newsletters.
|
|
| |
 |
02.12.08 - One of the
events we design for, the Road Runner Sports Love 'em or Leave 'em Valentine's Day
Dash had a record attendance yesterday. With over 1900 race
registrants, the event had a 52% participant growth over that of
last year. In only it's third year of existence, this event is
well on its way of becoming one of the larger, more popular
running events in Western Washington. What we designed: the
event poster, brochure, magazine ads and participant shirts. |
|
| |
 |
01.02.08 - Yesterday's
Road Runner Sports Resolution Run 5K set a 20 year record in
terms of its number of race registrants. For this year's event
marketing materials, we took a more direct approach to show the
emotions and excitement of the optional polar bear dive portion
of the event. As a result, the event had a huge increase in the
number of polar bear dive participants and sub sequentially in
the standard 5K too. What we designed: the event poster,
brochure, magazine ads and participant shirts. |
|
| |
 |
12.17.07 - The presents
came early for the 12K's of Christmas Holiday Run. The stats
from yesterday are in and they show that the 12K's of Christmas
Holiday Run had an astonishing 70% growth in participant
registrations over that of last year. We have been designing the
collateral for this event from the get go but with a revamped
focus on attracting the more serious race participant while also
keeping the materials fun, we were especially proud of this
years materials. What we designed: the event poster, brochure,
magazine ads and participant shirts. |
